With a background in classical literature, ancient languages, and over a decade of experience as a professional nanny for wonderful UK families, Svetlana brings deep insight and empathy to every story she writes. Her books are designed for children aged 9-12,  blending adventure with timeless values like empathy, hope, and self-discovery. Through her independent publishing initiative, Whimsy Quills, she is reimagining children’s literature as a space for wisdom, wonder, and kindness to grow side by side. When she's not writing, Svetlana can be found crafting magical reels, designing dino-themed diaries, or exploring stardust and synchronicities with her daughter.
